The eighth annual conference of KOSANBA

the Congress of Santa Barbara, was held on November 2-3, 2007 at the William Monroe Trotter Institute in Boston.
KOSANBA, the only scholarly association for the study of Haitian Vodou, celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2007.
KOSANBA, with an international membership, is based at the UCSB Center for Black Studies Research.
