Santa Barbara African American Life, Culture, and Contributions, 1890-1990: Virtual Exhibit Panel Discussion

Join us for a virtual panel discussion on the new exhibit Santa Barbara African American Life, Culture, and Contributions, 1890-1990. You will hear from featured exhibit participants who generously shared their stories, photographs, and historical documents, as well as Outreach Committee members who put the exhibit together. Learn about the process and challenges of creating such an exhibit while learning about Santa Barbara's Black history. This event is in partnership with the Santa Barbara Public Library’s Book to Action program centering around the family memoir, The Yellow House by Sarah M. Broom. This event will be hosted by SBPL.
