This 30-minute presentation seeks to "perform the archives" drawing from three performance projects: "Because When God Is Too Busy," "BlackLiberationMashUp," and "VooDooDoll." Combined, these works begin with an exploration of the value ascribed to African bodies from the crossing to contemporary times. It ends with a 15-minute discussion of method and practice, followed by a Q & A session.
